Spacious, restful room with loveseat, fireplace, sleeps 3

     This large room features a queen-size canopy bed with a garden theme and a private bath with large shower stall (no tub). The fireplace is both romantic and uniquely hypoallergenic (It's electric.). The In The Garden Room is so large a twin bed may be added for a third person OR a second person/second bed.

   This romantic is romantic but not too "girlie." It has a loveseat suitable for reading or snuggling near the fireplace and is painted a fresh spring green with a wallpaper border featuring herbs. The queen-size canopy style bed fits easily in this large room with its own realistic electric fireplace and heart-pine original mantle.  

Custom-made 3x4-foot shower stall with pulsing shower head. (NO tub.)

     The cozy private bath is wallpapered in a garden theme below the chair rail and new in 2009 raspberry wallpaper. The large shower stall was custom designed with a special treat for the ladies and a massaging type showerhead. the vanity is also custom-made.

      This room may be outfitted with a desk/table for business travelers and is often their first choice. Our wireless connection is free for all guests.

Large room with a small price

     Please request the twin bed in advance. Children 12 and under stay free. Additional fee for third adult in the room. No charge for two beds/two adults in the room.

     Our standard in-room amenities: cable TV, ceiling fan, snack basket and dish of candies, phone line, free wireless internet, bubble bath (rooms with tubs), candles, wine glasses, individual heat/air controls. Other items may be included. Located at the top of the front (grand) staircase.

Price range: $99-$109 (special event weekends may be higher) Mid-week business and government per diem rates available; call the inn for details. Extra fee for bed for third person over age 12.

Hypoallergenic fireplace, loveseat

     Included is cable TV, a sunset view, CD player candles, snacks and robes, making this a special room with an unusually good price. Located on the second floor about 15 feet from the upstairs front sitting porch (public).

   This is the inn's least expensive room yet it is larger than most in the North Carolina High Country (Boone, Blowing Rock, NC)or Abingdon, VA).  Special insulation insures every room offers superior privacy and comfort.
