The Destination Wedding Venue

Weddings at Prospect Hill in Mountain City, Tenn., take place in the inn’s custom-designed banquet room and wedding garden with Appalachian Mountain views in several directions.The romantic getaway inn is an ideal place for many types of ceremonies. We offer free use of furnishings (linens, tables, chairs, china and so on from our sizable but not comprehensive stock) when you rent our Wedding Garden and Party/Banquet Room. Start-to-finish wedding planning services and design are also free.

What We Include: (other places don’t)

  • Included iWedding couple holds hands after destination mountain weddingn packages:  Use of party room, gallery (foyer), wedding garden
  • Use of our metal gazebo (outdoors) and our candle stanchions (indoors)
  • China, flatware, at least 1 set of stemware, linens, table runners (some colors)
  • Tables, chairs, vases (from inn’s supply), rolling cooler, beverage tubs and drink dispensers
  • Free cake cutting service
  • Gazebo (outdoors), candle stanchions (interior), free use of silk flower garlands and covered gazebo (limited styles)
  • CD player, ipod amplifier
  • Two public restrooms
  • Kitchen for professional caterer’s use (set up, not cooking a meal)
  • Attended on-site parking
  • Onsite guest rooms (5) ; required for parties going after 5 pm
  • Note: The above items are available for parties up to 60 persons only with onsite reception (food served). Outside rentals are required for larger groups. Wedding Garden seats many more (150 easily); chair rentals required.
  • Seating indoors limited to 60 (because they fit!). Larger guest list? Use a tent on our tent site or plan a cocktail/stand up-style party or ask us about our Club House, Winery and Rustic Barn partners for more dining space.
  • Optimum size may shrink if additional set ups such as a DJ, buffet, multiple cake tables, photo displays, etc. are required.

    | A Cottage in the Woods (7 miles away – which sleeps 6-7) plus another similar house as needed.
    | Food (catering), cake, alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages
    | Photography/videography except Elopement for Two. All incidental photos made by innkeeper will be provided on a disk, free in 2013.
    | Musicians/DJ (CD player, ipod dock available free)
    | Rentals such as tents, special or additional chairs, chair covers, linens not in the inn’s stock, custom table runners (made by inn or rented from rental company), colored napkins, other items needed.
