We take every wedding at the inn into our heart--and work to make the day lovely, loving, hassle free--which turns into a beautiful memory. We also understand your desire to meet both your budget and fulfill your dreams. These packages are starting points for your planning. Please call Judy Hotchkiss, the innkeeper and wedding planner, to discuss your specific needs. She can provide pricing based on those needs.
Elopements for two are at a set price.  Call us to discuss your unique ceremony and wedding day.

To Your Wedding

     Every wedding is different. We are here make yours wonderful.

     We welcome your inquiries - we work with budgets and dreams.  

Free and included - More than a "facility fee:"

  • Use of party room, gallery (foyer), wedding garden, onsite guest rooms (5)
  • Full planning services
  • Day-of organizational services
  • White china, flatware, at least 1 set of stemware, napkins, linens (from inn's supply
  • Tables, chairs, vases (from inn's supply), rolling cooler
  • Gazebo, candle stanchions (interior)
  • CD player, ipod amplifier
  • Public restrooms
  • Kitchen for professional caterer's use (set up)
  •  On-site parking
  • The usual fee for this list can run over $1000 if rented individually for a site which does not in clude these items  as we do

Elopements for Two

Inclusive Package:  

     Two nights in your choice of Romance Room, ceremony with minister or clerk/judge officiating, a number of photos made by the inn (plus the innkeeper will use your camera(s) for additional shots), double hearts handmade wedding cake and punch, CD music provided or we will play your CD, bridal bouquet (standard flowers) and boutonniere, souvenir inn mug.
     Just the two of you $750 plus tax (8.5%). Additional nights may be added to the basic two-night package.  Not included: Tennessee county/state license ($105).
     For weddings with guests, see "Tiny Weddings," "Small Weddings," and "Medium-Size Weddings" below.

Other fees which apply to all weddings (if used):

Caterer/food - Our catering partner is Tributary on Main, located 1/2 mile away. We also recommend Bandanas Barbecue and A.C.E.S. members.

Cake - Innkeeper Judy makes several types of cakes at reasonable price. You may bring your own provided you take care of delivery. You may also select an A.C.E.S. member. Cake is included in the Elopement Package.

Photographer/videographer - we recommend Sharon of Bob Caldwell Photography and other members of A.C.E.S. Photography by the innkeeper is included in the Elopement Package and Tiny Weddings Package In all cases, a professional may be added at your option.

Musicians - the inn has a bluegrass band and other musicans as vendors. We will refer you so you can work directly.

Officiant (the inn has a minister and a mayor on call) - fee. Officiant's fee is included in the Elopement Package.


Tiny Wedding | Tea Party Style - 3-10 persons present

Tea party style; party complete by 5 pm

 

Tiny Wedding | Full Party/Meal Style - 3-10 persons present

Full blown (meal,music, alcohol, ending any time after 5 pm)

Generally the inn takes care of set up for Tiny Weddings. However, some brides take a more hands-on approach:

Do it yourself set up on day before wedding: In the 30 hours prior to the wedding the Inn provides up to one and a half hours time at no charge during which you may set up the party room if you care to. Thereafter, the price is $30/hour plus tax. This covers use of the facility for arranging flowers, doing craft projects, making things, assembly of decorating items. Time must be scheduled in advance. Innkeeper will also charge extra for finishing projects which start out as DIY but end up needing attention at the last minute.

Use of friends, non-licensed or non-professional suppliers and do it yourselfers:
Because much of the work/set up normally done by commerccial vendors falls to the inn staff, there will be a $10/guest fee charged when non-professional "drop off" or "bring" certain items with the expectation that they will be stored, refrigerated, set out or "handled." This includes, but is not limited to food brought by family or guests which is either homemade or store bought platters. In the case of food brought in addition to the primary caterer will also be charged at $10/guest service charge.

 

 


Small Weddings 11-24 persons present

Party room rental for one full day; guest room rental for two full days/nights (generally 3 pm Friday - noon Sunday or other 2-day blocks). Five guest rooms for two nights. Sleeps a total of 11 persons. Includes breakfast two mornings. Cottage in the Woods (Sleeps 6-7) optional and not included in package price.

Full planning service for wedding and reception. Day-of-wedding event assistance by innkeeper

Definition: Uses a professional caterer for a seated or buffet meal. Caterer provides wait staff and clean up. Alcoholic beverages allowed but must be purchased elsewhere by bridal party (not inn). Cost of food not included below. Typical range is $20-$45/person plus taxes, gratuity/service.

The Furniture and Furnishing (usually rented separately; we provide it at great savings) - Included from the inn's stock-- tables, chairs, linens, china, flatware, one or more goblets, napkins, vases, gazebo, candel stanchions indoors, table runners, silk flower garlands (limited number) , CD or ipod player.
Special items which must be rented are at additional cost.

Planning and vendor assistance - free from start to finish. We maintain a "tried and true" vendor list and will recommend assistance based on your needs.

Price: $2600 plus 8.5% sales tax

    Our inn is perfect for weddings up to about 55-60 persons (using the wedding garden and Pavilion room).  Base price: $2700 plus sales tax (8.5%) for two days - includes facility fee, planning, 5 guest rooms sleeping 11 . Cottage rental is optional.

      The basic facility fee includes pre-planning and day of coordination, many items commonly charged extra (tables, chairs, linens, dishes from our in-house supply/others may be needed), use of our gazebo, stanchion candleholders. Large groups may incur added labor costs.

     Not included:  Flowers and other decorations, rental items as needed, (tables, chairs, linens), officiant/ minister's fee (or bring your own), food, music (free CD sound system), cake, beverages.


Typical budget for a wedding for 30-35  (aka Iris Theme):

This package includes the Mountain Pavilion Room, patio, wedding garden, 5 guest rooms at the inn for two nights (sleeps 11), cottage rental for two nights (3 guest rooms sleeps 7), on- site planner, 200 iris including bride's and 1 bridesmaid's bouquets , corsages for mothers, boutonnieres, table flowers, custom
satin table runners, all linens (ivory), free use of tables, chairs as shown, china, table vases for flowers, wedding, gazebo, appetizers and sit down dinner or appetizers (choice of menus), wedding cake and minister/officiant fee: $5500

Not included: marriage license, alcoholic beverages, photographer, hair dresser, clothing and other items. Prices higher in October and always subject to availability of inn rooms and caterer. Prices subject items owned by the inn as well as subject to change due to vendor rate increases beyond our control. The photos below are of a similar event. Similar wedding materials available in pink or lavender. runners are bridal satin, custom sewed for the inn and included free in the 30-person destination wedding package with seated dinner.

We don't believe in hidden costs; often it's the "tiny" add-ons that kill your budget.

More than weddings:

     The main Pavilion Room is perfect for rehearsal dinners, showers, bridesmaid’s luncheons as well as wedding ceremonies and anniversary and renewal parties. The architecture stands alone or it can be decorated to meet your needs. Catering by outside vendors is permitted. Inn provides china, linens, selection of tables, chairs, vases and expert planning as needed.
